I induced my little girl with castor oil – I had a four hour complication free labour with no drugs. The only way a midwife can tell is if you have the runs while you’re in labour. I told my midwife when I arrived and she just said “Poor you.” lol However I was only on the toilet for an hour and a half and had no other problems. Took the castor oil at 3pm, on the loo from 5.30pm to 7pm then went into labour at 11.30pm. It cleaned me out so there were no little accidents during delivery!
