Can miniature pet pigs go on harnesses?

You can harness train pigs of any type, but you have to start them off when they are piglets and do it consistently. However, where you can take them is another matter. Even to have them in the first place you have to have a licence from DEFRA, which you must get before you get your animals. You musn’t allow them to have contact with other farm animals such as sheep and cattle, because of disease risks and you would have to ask DEFRA about taking them off licenced premises. The rules are very strict, so best to be sure that you know what you are doing first before you think about getting your pigs. Also, I think there is quite a waiting list for miniatures.
