Yes he could do that but my question is why pay someone to do it when you can just as easily do it himself and save that “agency” fee. Unless the cruise line has said that you absolutely MUST have a passport you do not need one right now. From now until JUNE 2009, you can go on a cruise with a proof of identity and citizenship. Your birth certificate and driver license or other photo ID will serve that purpose. After June 2009 a passport will be absolutely required. Now if you just want to have a passport you can start the process by going to the US Passport office web site http://travel.state.gov/passport/passpor… and print off a copy of the application, go to an AAA office or a place that does passport photos and get two photos, and mail in your application.
