Can my pet hedgehog drink goat milk?
No, it is not good for them. Hedgehogs thrive best on a high protein/ low fat diet with a mix of fruits and veg. The hedgehog may be craving more protein, and you’re friend should be sure that his pet is getting enough be supplementing a diet of Hedgehog food (or cat food) with meal worms for a while and see if his pet cravings change. Cooked meats are also good, but dairy in general (casein products) should be avoided as well as fatty protein sources.
