Can my teddy bear hamster have a haircut?
The cuteness of teddybear hamsters in in their long hair, hence it is very rare for people to trim the hair of their teddy bears. However if you feel that long hair is a hindrance, I suggest you take him to a vet and learn from the vet how to trim the hair carefully and gently so that you can do it regularly. I still feel since you bought him only recently, why don’t you return him back to the pet shop and get a short haired hamster since they can do justice by giving him to another home where the people are long hair lovers rather than you having to trim his long fur for the rest of his life.
