Can my wife drink alcohol under the age of 21?
It will depend on your state. Some states allow spouses to be responsible for their underage spouse when it comes to drinking. This means that you will need to be with her at all times that she is under the influence. Say you drink at home and then you leave and something happens and the police come to your house. Technically, she could get in trouble. Same goes if she leaves after drinking with you. Basically, if your state allows parents to let their children drink with them then a spouse falls in the same guardian category. In Ohio parents can serve children as long as they are responsible for their children the whole time they are under the influence. However, that does not mean that a private or public business has to allow your wife to drink if she is with you, businesses still retain the right to refuse service to anyone.
