Can Nansulate® reduce condensation on metal hoses?

0

Yes, Nansulate® Translucent PT coating can be used on the exterior of the hose to insulate and help reduce condensation issues. The coating does have some flexibility however it should not be used on hoses that would be flexed for instance at a 45 degree angle, or it could crack. If possible for hoses that have such flexibility we would recommend coating them after they were already in place if there were no other bending expected to occur. You can find the product cut sheet here: http://www.nansulate.com/pdf/Cutsheets/Nansulate_Translucent_PT_Cutsheet.pdf and the specification sheet, which will give you further information on the product capabilities, along with pricing and ordering information on our site here.
