Can NHD grantees require cost-sharing for participation in the NHD program?
Individuals cannot be denied an OAA funded service due to their income or their failure to make a cost sharing payment. Therefore, for services available through your NHD program that are funded under Title III of the OAA, the cost-sharing guidelines/requirements located in section 315 of the OAA apply (Please see Appendix). Title III services include III-B, III-C2, and III-E.
