Can One Conceive With One Fallopian Tube?
Yes, but it’s not as easy as it would be with 2 open fallopian tubes. I had my tubes “clamped” a few years ago and one of the clamps fell off. After consulting my GYN she said that I could get pregnant with the one tube open, but it would take longer than normal because you ovulate randomly. So lets say you have the right side fallopian tube open and working, you could ovulate on the left side where there is no tube, therefore no way for sperm to travel to fertilize the egg, for 8 months, then suddenly ovulate on the right and get pregnant. It’s completely random. So, to answer your question, yes, but it may take longer.
