Yes, compared to competitive products OutlookBackupPro does support to create a backup copy of an opened .pst file. Outlook must not be closed prior the creation of a backup with OutlookBackupPro. OutlookBackupPro includes Totalidea Software’s new ‘HotShadow’ backup technology, which allows the program to create backups of files that are in use during backup. Please note that ‘HotShadow’ is not available on Windows XP, and also only on non NTFS formatted drives.
