No, PDF-to-Word converter will only be able to extract text if it is available as text within the PDF document. It will not perform optical character recognition (OCR) procedure on scanned PDF document. However, if you use the free Paper Capture plug-in from Adobe.com to perform OCR on your PDF document, you can then use PDF-to-Word to convert the text it creates into MS Word format.
