Can “Pearl Drop” Tooth polish really whiten my teeth?

0

Pearl Drops whitens teeth because it is VERY abrasive, and it scratches all sorts of stain off of your teeth. In that way your teeth APPEAR whiter. There is no chemical reaction that goes on that whitens your teeth (like there is with carbamide peroxide bleaching kits). The problem with Pearl Drops is that, while “sandblasting” away the stain on your teeth, it also scratches away the enamel. Yes that is right, it erodes away your enamel. And once gone…the enamel is GONE! In the past people that used this as their daily toothpaste, ended up losing so much enamel that their teeth became sensitive, and ultimately their teeth needed to be crowned.
