can primary care trusts take part?
We have had a lot of interest from primary care trusts about the national heart failure audit. Whilst the current focus is on auditing the care of emergency admissions to secondary care, the database has been designed with a view for use in other care settings. primary care trusts can use the heart failure database for clinical audit purposes and for use as a care record. The CCAD helpdesk can advise anybody from primary care on how to purchase the necessary software licenses.
