Can “pure” colloidal silver cause Argyria?
No, contrary to belief by biased authorities, true colloidal silver does not product Argyria any more than swallowing a silver coin would produce Argyria. Why not? Because of the definition of Argyria and how Argyria occurs (see previous FAQ). Naturally, due to losing market share and profits from the use of prescription antibiotics, drug companies (and therefore their counterpart the Food and Drug Administration) has the most to lose from the continued use of colloidal silver. In addition, the whole subject is controversial and since the science can be complicated and false information floods the internet.
