Can Regional Managers quit or be fired?
Regional Managers may quit by contacting Corporate. Another Regional Manager will then be chosen for that branch. Regional Managers may also be fired by Corporate. Employees may send Corporate (including Human Resources) complaints about their Regional Manager. If Corporate receives many complaints or witnesses negative behavior by the Regional Manager, the Regional Manager may be fired. The fired Regional Manager then may be transfer to another branch as a regular employee. Substitute Regional Managers If a Regional Manager goes on vacation, gets sick, or for any other reason is away from Dunder Mifflin for any period that exceeds one week, the Regional Manager must appoint a temporary one during his/her absence. The Regional Manager just has to contact Corporate and tell them his/her replacement by going into the “Corporate” discussion.
