Many developers of new properties offer mortgages of up to 70% over 20 years for non-residents. These mortgages are usually good value as the developer is able to secure a favourable rate of interest. Spanish banks will also offer anything up to 70% for European residents and there are Northern European banks and building societies that will provide mortgages.
