Can shaving pubic hair cause cancer?
Cancer is a form of mutation of a functional cell. Risks of cancer increased by myriad of things, including but not limited to: genetic, inhalation of toxins (asbestos), consumption of carcinogenic products, etc. Shaving pubic hair does not increase the risk for cancer. I think your parents thoughts are influenced by the idea that shaving pubic hair is only done by whore, so they would just add more negative theories that shaving pubic hair causes cancer, etc just to prevent you from doing it. There is no evidence that shaving pubic hair causes cancer, unless you use liquid uranium for the shaving cream.
