Can some Japanese martial art experts / students help me please?
I am thinking of learning a martial art, and since I’m half Japanese I thought it would be good to learn a martial art of my heritage. What is the most effective? Also, it has most of the competitions in general, available? I know there are generally sin’t a martial art that can do everything, but I’m looking for which is best if you had to pick one. I read you question and I understand that you are looking for a Japanese Style. What you must understand is that no matter what style best style there. Each one is only as effective as the person using it. That said, I see potential students directly defined by two things. The first is the instructor. The second is the learner and how trains. Even the most gifted students can only go so far as your Sensei may LEED. I suggest you find the best instructor most know
