A. Yes. However, if the signer is physically or mentally disabled, some problems could arise. If they are physically disabled, the signer should be able to make an “X” or other symbol which can be notarized using the signature-by-mark procedure. If there is a question as to whether the signer has a mental disability, you may want to consult with an attorney.
