Can someone explain in detail about what Kumon Math method is about?
Well, I don’t have any worksheets so sorry. But basically the Kumon Method is learning through repitition. Not to the point where you memorize it, but where you know what you’re doing. At lower levels, 1+1 and 2×3 are to sharpen your skills so that you’re insanely fast when it comes to those. And higher levels where they start to teach you hard stuff is where the method kicks in. Basically, to learn it, they’ll give you an example. you follow the example step by step You fail the worksheet, they make you repeat it. Instructor teaches you how to do it. No better way to learn than through your own mistakes. Take worksheet again. Fail again. This time instructor helps you hammer in fine points. Take worksheet again. Pass. Make you repeat. Pass. Understand what and why. By making you do the same thing over and over and over you will learn it better. That’s a fact. Otherwise you’ll forget.
