Can someone explain the TV show deal or no deal??

“Deal or No Deal” is a twist on the old game show “Let’s Make a Deal.” The game starts out with 26 cases, containing money amounts ranging from one penny to one million dollars. The contestant gets to pick one of those cases, which is theirs for the entire game – unless they decide to sell it to the banker. The banker wants to buy their case for as little money as possible, and will make offers to buy it, but only after the person has opened up a number of the other 25 cases. The number of cases that need to be opened, with each turn, decreases. It starts out with 6 cases, and drops until a person eventually only has to open one case at a time. If a person opens only small amounts, the offer from the banker goes up; however, if they open a larger amount (especially the one million), the offer can go way down. The ultimate goal is to try and leave the game either with the million in your case, or as much money as possible.
