Can someone give me a kind quote to comfort someone about death in the Buddhist religion please?
May I give you a better suggestion? Don’t quote anything. Just sincerely say “I am sorry for your loss.” If you are close enough to them, put your arms around them and cry with them. Nothing you say will be helpful, except “I am sad, too,” or something like it. I am a Christian who has lost loved ones. I know that I will see them and have a loving relationship with them again, but when they died, I only wanted to grieve. I did not want to hear something to make me feel better. One last hint: If what you want to say starts with, “At least…” DON’T SAY IT! You WILL make them feel worse.
