I live and sell real estate in hopkinton and Holliston. Hopkinton and Holliston have highly regarded school systems. Even if you don’t have school age children, property values remain higher in communities with good schools. Southboro is not as convenient for commuters in general. Hopkinton is great for sommuting. There is a interstate 495 exit and access to 90 MAss Pike is 4 miles. The commuter rail station in Southboro and Ashland are right on the town line, so both are easy access.
