Can someone help with a Latin to English translation?
This isn’t Latin. It might have been termed “dog Latin”, but even that normally has some regard for grammatical form. There was golden age Latin, silver age Latin, vulgar Latin and this isn’t even fit to be termed scrap metal Latin. Trying very hard to get into the mindset of your pal, my guess as to what he conceivably trying to say (and didn’t say) was something like this: “True. I’ll express it in the language of the gods and our poets. Individual opinions differ as to the overall meaning and the underlying spirit. But your vocabulary is inadequate.” This is a wild, wild guess. Don’t bother with websites. This is a load of nonsense and your friend should either learn Latin or leave it well alone.
