Can someone show me how to calculate BMI ?

0

BMI is Body mass index. It is calculated as weight in kilos divided by hight squared in meters. So someone of 2 meters at 80kg would have a BMI of 20 (80 / 4) 18.5 to 24 is supposed to be the optimum range. BMI is useful to asses the general health of a large group but for individuals it is a load of bull (esspecially for men). It doesn’t take in to consideration you muscle mass or your build. Most Olympic athletes would be considered obese just using the BMI scale and some morbidly obese. A far more accurate way of assessing your health would be to get your body fat measured and looking at your improvement in whatever training you are doing.
