Can someone tell me the ups and downs of timeshare to be more specific the Wyndham Vacation Resorts ?
This was my answer to a previous similar question but it still applies. You do not have to stay in the same place every year. We have stayed in several different places and never paid a premium to change. In fact we have never stayed in the resort in which we are owners. I hope the following helps. I am a Wyndham timeshare owner but I bought entirely on the secondary market (Ebay)and got a great deal and am quite happy with the purchase. I bought over 600,000 annual points (renewable on March 31st each year) and have been using the timeshare regularly. For these points I can get a two bedroom condo for about 150,000 Pts or 4 weeks during prime time, or I can get a studio apartment for about 54,000 points or 11 weeks vacation. In fact I am writing this with my family as we stay in a 3 bedroom condo with a fireplace at Wilderness in Wisconsin Dells. (Two weeks, 1300 square foot apartment, whirlpool etc, 226,000 points.) We got passes into the water park as part of the timeshare. We are s
