Can someone with a non-technical background work for a company like Interphase?
While we definitely have a bias toward technical people in our engineering, testing, sales, and customer support areas, there are still many great opportunities at Interphase which don’t require a technical degree, although at least a general business degree (bachelors or masters) is preferred. For example, Interphase hires individuals in administration (finance, marketing, human resources) as well as those more operationally focused (materials, production planning, and logistics). We also have an impressive ISO9001 and TL9000 certified manufacturing facility which needs people with all levels of experience in surface mount technology, board assembly, testing, and repair.
