Spray foam can be applied directly to plumbing lines and electrical wiring. Recessed lights and other electrical fixtures may require an air cavity around them for adequate cooling. If this is a requirement a box made of gypsum wall board can be build around the fixture and spray foam can be sprayed directly to the outside of the box so as not to compromise the insulation integrity of the home.
