Can students from a particular division take another divisions prescribed electives and count those subjects as prescribed electives for themselves?

Only subjects listed under the particular division as prescribed electives can be counted as prescribed electives for the student under the division he belongs to. For example, students from the Division of Journalism and Publishing who take subjects under the Division of Communication Research will not be able to count those subjects as prescribed electives for themselves, unless the subjects are cross-listed as prescribed electives in the Division of Journalism and Publishing as well. However, students may take subjects from other divisions as General Electives.
