Can students who live outside of Manhattan or District 2 apply?

We accept students from all five boroughs, so you do not need to live in a certain borough or district to apply; however, we do give preference to students who live or attend school below Houston Street in Manhattan. In 2009, we had over 4,500 applications for 150 seats.
