Can the AV8OR™ interface with certified GPS systems?
Yes. Using the optional serial interface cable, the AV8OR™ can be configured to display the course and waypoints loaded in panel-mount GPS systems, including the Bendix/King KLN 94 and the Garmin 430/530 GPS units. When interfaced, it will display approach information. AV8OR™ must be configured to accept external data. Under device port setup, change source to position and type to ar-nav.
