Can the BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM be used for growth of bacteria, yeast, fungi?
BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM can be used for growth of any type of cell. However the rocking mixing system is especially suitable for shear sensitive cells such as mammalian cells. The single use of the bags makes it an ideal vessel for all cell types for convenient culturing. Organisms which have a high demand for oxygen may be limited in this type of system.
