Can the Board subpoena the Medical Examiners office for copy of autopsy and/or toxicology reports?

The Crime lab does not recognize a subpoena from the Board due to AG’s office scrutiny as it is the law. You can request permission from the Prosecuting Attorney’s office and their office can mail, fax or email his ok to release. You can get court order from the county in which the death occurred or authorization from the next of kin.
