Can the City stop the builder from getting approval from the County to build 700 more homes in Tesoro?
• The City has stated publicly that they are opposed to the application currently before the Los Angeles County. The current revised plan is part of an 18 year old application and that was initially approved in 1999 which calls for a total of 1791 homes. It has always been the intended plan for the Tesoro community and the HOA hopes to complete the Tesoro Del Valle master planned community as envisioned with its full array of housing types as allowed under the Los Angeles County vesting tentative tract map. The HOA fees, service and amenities are to be allocated over the entire community, and not limited to just the 1077 homes in Tesoro Phase 1 that exist today.
