Can the custodial parent contact the non-custodial parent’s employer?
Our agency needs to be involved when an employer does not send a payment or sends an incorrect payment amount. When a custodial parent applies or is referred for our services, the custodial parent consents to Hennepin County taking care of the collection of the support payments. If there is a problem with an employer, a Child Support Officer will take the necessary actions to solve the problem.
