You do not need a new keyboard. You just need to use the international keyboard layout. This layout allows you to type international characters by pressing the alt key, such as é, ñ, ¡, and yes, the english pound £. To enable the international keyboard, follow the directions at Microsoft’s knoweldgebase here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306560 Once you have the international keyboard enabled, you can type international characters either via alt- or shift-alt-, or by pressing one ‘ followed by a letter for an accented character, ~ and a letter for a tilde’d character, ” followed by a letter for two dots above the character, etc. For example, é is created either by ‘ followed by e, or by é alt-e. ü is either ” followed by u, or alt-y (because alt-u is ú) The pound character (£) is created via alt-shift-4.
