Can the healing of a burn be slowed down by a low-grade bacterial lung infection?

A skin infection or a burn does not have much to do with a lung infection in the way of healing. Yes, you need oxygen to your cells which is CRITICAL for all of the body to survive and repair oneself, however, if it is low-grade and your oxygen saturation is above 90% throughout, then your skin should heal as if you didnt have an infection. I have seen most skin infections or burns heal with many other illness’ as well from my days in the hospitals!
