Cat Lover is right. Until the Nikon D90 was released, video on DSLR’s was not an option. My guess is that the major camera manufactures are putting things like video and live view to entice P&S users to move up to DSLR’s You will notice that the professional DSLR’s made by Nikon and Canon do not have video as an option on their $5,000 to $8500 camera bodies. At that level, pros either shoot stills or video .. rarely both and if they do, they have a proper still DSLR and broadcast quality video camera.
