Can the nose grow after rhinoplasty?
A – When rhinoplasty is performed on children before they have stopped growing, which is around the age of 15 for girls and 18 for boys, the nose will grow after the procedure. It’s best to postpone surgery until growth has been completed because continued growth of the nose can negatively impact the results achieved through surgery. Many middle aged adults experience an elongation of the nose, and even later in life the tip may droop.
