Most juices can be mixed with ozonated water right from the VeriPure faucet. Apple juice may appear slightly darker due to oxidation, similar to what happens when a fresh cut apple is exposed to air. Alcoholic beverages should not be mixed directly with freshly ozonated water, but with water that has set for at least five minutes. (The fresh ozone may darken colored alcohols and may change the taste slightly. However, after the ozone has returned to oxygen, the fresh tasting water will enhance the flavor of the cocktail.
