Can the Pet Door Design insert fit in any sliding patio door?

The insert will fit in most aluminum and vinyl sliding patio doors manufactured in the United States featuring either or 1 thick (over-all) double pane glass. Aluminum framed doors featuring 5/8th inch thick (over-all) double pane glass will also convert. Wood and fiberglass doors featuring the same glass thickness and replaceable stops also work well. We can help you quickly identify any problems prior to ordering. • Q - Does Pet Door Design offer glass options like low-e and tint? Clear tempered safety glass is standard. Low-e, bronze and gray tint are optional. Color matching existing glass can be difficult and is not guaranteed. • Q - Does Pet Door Design offer a single pane conversion insert?
