Again, absolutely. The Infant/Child SMART Pad cartridge is sold separately. The Philips defibrillators were the first automated external defibrillators (AEDs) available for use on children under 55 pounds. When you replace the Adult SMART Pad cartridge with the Infant/Child SMART Pad cartridge, the unit senses that change and automatically adjusts itself to deliver a lower energy level and it even coaches the user for performing CPR on a child.
