Can the power adapter plug be replaced?

My poxy laptop slipped off the chair and landed directly on the power plug. I don’t have a battery for the PB at the moment so power via the adapter was my only way of using it. Short of buying an entire new adapter I was wondering if the plug that goes into the laptop can be replaced since that was the only bit that broke. The rest of the adapter is all fine so it seems a bit overkill having to buy a whole new adapter just to replace the plug.
