Can the proposed underground parking facility for building residents actually be built?
On 02/27/2006, Commissioners requested …that an engineered opinion on the feasibility of a parking garage be submitted before final plans are approved… In response we referenced the number of excavated basements that already exist in commercial buildings in the 400 Block of Main Street. In addition, Mr. Robert Boone, Owner of Lyons Excavation, reported that there should be no problem building the proposed underground parking garage with his equipment.
