Can the scientific model explain spontaneous healing?

0

With all of its knowledge of the physical body, DNA, and various technical innovations, neither medical science nor the scientific model has an explanation for spontaneous healing or miraculous recoveries. Many believe that in time modern medicine will be able to use the scientific model to explain spontaneous healing. However, there are two errors or flaws with modern medicine s line of thinking. The first is that modern science treats the physical body like a mechanical device; a plane or car. They think that everything can be explained in physical terms. Even if everything were known about the physical body, it would be insufficient to explain spontaneous healing. Now man is more than the sum of the parts of the physical body. He has both a psychological and spiritual component. Thus, the second error is not taking these components into consideration because the scientific model cannot measure them.
