No. The heater is automatically deactivated when the "Add fluid" indicator is illuminated. While the pump will continue to operate, the heater will not be reactivated until OzzyJuice is added to the system and the "Add fluid" indicator is off. However, if, your fluid is low and overheating, you may want to check to make sure the temperature and low level probe is not stuck or malfunctioning.
