Yes, MSS distribution partners can enable wireless optimization for their customers by pre-installing a hub-side XA-Series appliance. Once remote users install a XipStick between the PC and the modem there sessions will be optimized. The hub-site optimizer will have a logical wireless network defined for users on any network, Swift, BGAN, etc. A hub-site installation can support optimized connections from mobile users that use the XipStick, but also from larger ships, remote offices or oil platforms that may use an XA-Series appliance and even connections from users with tactical kits or aircraft that may use XipLink’s embedded systems software.
