Yes, nomination can be done for the bank accounts. a. Nomination for the bank accounts can also be provided later after opening of the accounts. b. Nominee can be a resident Indian also. c. No documents or signatures of the nominee are required for nomination. d. Joint holder for the said accounts cannot become the nominee of the same account.
