Can there be some funding for sub-acute stays that prevent SOF referrals?
Efforts will be made to provide MCPs/CMHCs with some flexible funding to assist in supporting residential services. Providers are strongly encouraged to develop community partnerships to enhance and/or develop a continuum of housing options for consumers. DMHA supports and encourages all efforts to build recovery focused care options such as housing integrated into the community which promotes independence while providing an appropriate level of support to meet the consumer’s needs.
