No! The mother rabbit will be very heat exhausted. She is already trying to manage her body alone, but with a litter of bunnies, it can be a problem. To make sure the litter is safely delivered, take her into a private cage without any other rabbits. If other rabbits are there with her in her cage with a newborn litter, she WILL (no doubt) brutally murder all of the babies. It’s a matter of defense. She would rather kill them in one strong bite in the neck then have other rabbits tackle and play around with them until they’re helpless for death. Don’t even try keeping the rabbit’s mate in there with her, she will still kill the babies. Give her PLENTY of hay, and a welping box. Before labor, she will go CRAZY and pull out mass amounts of her own fur, and when you offer her hay, she will viciously take it and nestle it into her nest.
